Ein Hijleh (Valle del Giordano) spazzata via da Israele

dite della creatività della popolazione palestinese, dell'unità dei Comitati Popolari per la resistenza nonviolenta che stanno cercando di far rivivere una antico villaggio cananita, spopolato dai suoi abitanti dall'esercito israeliano. " Noi, le figlie e i figli della Palestina, annunciamo oggi il ripristino del villaggio di Ein Hijleh come parte della campagna Melh Al-Ard  (Il sale della Terra), nella valle del Giordano.

Sono tornati con canti, bandiere, balli, per ricostruirlo per farlo rivivere, per affermare il loro diritto su quella terra.

E' una storia positiva, la vita contro la morte. 

Ad ogni momento gli abitanti del villaggio rischiano di essere assaliti dai soldati dell'esercito israeliano e di essere cacciati e arrestati, sono al terzo giorno ed ogni notte aspettano che l'esercito arrivi come è arrivato a Bab al Shams, la porta del sole, il villaggio costruito con tende nella zona vicino a Gerusalemme chiamata E1 dove Israele vuole costruire un altra colonia.

Venerdì 7 febbraio 2014 Centinaia di forze israeliane hanno fatto irruzione villaggio di Ein Hijleh nella Valle del Giordano e sfrattati tutti i suoi residenti violentemente intorno 01:30 e dichiarato il villaggio zona militare chiusa. E si stima che tra il 200-250 palestinesi erano in paese al momento di sfratto. 35 palestinesi sono stati feriti e portati in ospedale Gerico dopo lo sfratto. Al momento del raid le forze israeliane hanno sparato grandi quantità di bombe sonore per disperdere la folla che si riuniscono al centro del villaggio, mentre molte donne e bambini sono stati sfrattati automaticamente dalle case e tende dove erano addormentati. forze israeliane hanno attaccato i residenti di Ein Hijleh battendoli, li calci e spingendoli a terra e nel fuoco. Gli abitanti del villaggio sono stati trasferiti dopo lo sgombero con autobus militari d'occupazione israeliane mentre viene umiliato e deriso dai soldati sul bus. I residenti di Ein Hijleh dove trasferiti all'ingresso di Gerico e la loro ricezione da parte delle forze di sicurezza palestinesi e portato al centro della città di Gerico. forze israeliane hanno attaccato anche i giornalisti e gruppi di medici in paese al momento dello sfratto tra cui un cameraman dalla Palestina TV che è stato spinto da uno dei tetti a terra e uno dei medici della squadra di soccorso medico è stato colpito con un fucile sul petto. Diversi palestinesi sono stati arrestati al momento di sfratto e sono stati poi rilasciata all'ingresso di Gerico. L'attivista del comitato di lotta popolare in AlMasara Mahmoud Zawahreh ha detto che gli attivisti sono riusciti a rilanciare il paese e anche se sono stati sfrattati da Ein Hijleh ma l'occupazione israeliana non è riuscito a sfrattare l'frazione e il grande lavoro realizzato dai cuori e le menti di Ein residenti Hijleh. Attivista dalla lotta popolare dal campo profughi di Aida a Betlemme Monther Amira ha detto che lo sfratto non finirà il lavoro degli attivisti nella Valle del Giordano, ha aggiunto, "noi continueremo con la nostra campagna Melh Alard (Salt of the Earth) , e la rinascita del villaggio era solo l'inizio per il nostro lavoro nella Valle del Giordano, continueremo il nostro lavoro e noi rimaniamo ad essere il sale di questa terra che lavora contro le politiche israeliane in tutta la terre palestinesi in particolare contro la giudaizzazione e l'annessione della Valle del Giordano.

Israeli occupation raid and evict Palestinians from Ein Hijleh

Hundreds of Israeli forces have raided Ein Hijleh village in the Jordan Valley and evicted all its residents violently around 1:30 am and declared the village a closed military zone.  And it is estimated that between 200-250 Palestinians were in the village at the time of eviction.


35 Palestinians were injured and taken to Jericho hospital after the eviction. At the time of the raid Israeli forces fired large amounts of sound bombs to scatter the crowd that gather at the center of the village while many women and children were automatically evicted from homes and tents where they were asleep.

Israeli forces have attacked the residents of Ein Hijleh by beating them up, kicking them and pushing them to the ground and into the fire.

The residents of the village were transferred after the eviction with Israeli occupation military buses while being humiliated and mocked by the soldiers on the bus.  The residents of Ein Hijleh where transferred to the entrance of Jericho and were received by Palestinian security forces and taken to the center of Jericho city.

Israeli forces have also attacked journalists and medical teams in the village at the time of eviction including a cameraman from Palestine TV who was pushed from one of the rooftops to the ground and one of the medics from the medical relief team was hit with a riffle on his chest.

Several Palestinians were arrested at the time of eviction and were later released at the entrance of Jericho.

The activist from the popular struggle committee in AlMasara Mahmoud Zawahreh said that the activists have managed to revive the village and although they were evicted from Ein Hijleh but the Israeli occupation failed to evict the village and the great work achieved from the hearts and minds of Ein Hijleh residents.

Activist from the popular struggle from Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem Monther Amira said that the eviction will not end the work of the activists in the Jordan Valley, he added “we will continue with our campaign Melh AlArd (Salt of the Earth), and the revival of the village was only the start to our work in the Jordan Valley, we will continue our work and we will remain to be the salt to this earth working against Israeli policies in all of Palestinian lands especially against the Judaization and annexation of the Jordan Valley.
